Wundersame Verwandlung, lat. commercium admirabile, das ist Weihnachten: Gott wird Mensch, oben zu unten, fern zu nah, was für ein Wechsel, aus Raffen wird Geben, welch ein Tausch, Dinge wirken Zauber. Advent – allen Menschen ein Wohlgefallen?
„Und ihr werdet finden ein Kind in Windeln gewickelt und in einer Krippe liegen“ Lukas 2
Die Welt verwandeln alle Jahre wieder? Dass sie erscheine wie zur ‚staden Zeit’, wunsch-, erwartungs-, spannungsgeladen, verzaubert wie den Kindern, wer wünscht sich das nicht, wo so viel fix und fertig, erstarrt, eisig, von Lohnzettel, Waage, Konto, Dax, Tacho und Terminkalender, CO²-Werten, Mächten und Skandalen regiert wird.
Dass Gott ein Kind wird, das Absolute sinnlich, wer versteht's? Näher ist da eine andere Verwandlung: dass Alles zu Ware und Profit wird. Doch so wenig unsere Herzen noch Dogmen anrühren, so wenig reizt uns noch mehr Konsum. Das Christfest als Unterbrechung, in Singen, Schenken, Beten und Spielen eine herzliche Menschlichkeit?
Vom Commercium admirabile kommt das strapazierte Wort vom Kommerz. Das Weihnachtslied Lobt Gott ihr Christen alle gleich singt vom geheimnisvollen Wechsel, dem radikalen Anderen, der Revolution zu Bethlehem. Im Kleinsten geschieht das Größte, im Schäbigen das Herrliche, im Dunklen das Helle, im Kalten das Wärmste, im Schuldigen das Unschuldige, im Alten der Neuanfang, im Brutalen das Zärtliche, im Kaputten das Heile, im Profanen das Heilige - Mischung, Austausch, Verbindung, Liaison: der Himmel küsst die Welt.
Wir laden alle, die anders l(i)eben möchten, herzlich ein ins winterliche Idyll am Starnberger See zum Rätsel eines heilsamen Kommerz.

Miraculous transformation, Latin: commercium admirabile, that is Christmas: God becomes man, above becomes below, far becomes near, what a change, from taking comes giving, what an exchange, things work magic. Advent – a time of universal joy?
“And you will find a child wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger" Luke 2
Transforming the world every year? That it appears as if it were a 'quiet time', full of wishes, expectations, excitement, enchanted like children, who wouldn't want that, where so much is ready-made, frozen, icy, ruled by pay slips, scales, accounts, the Dax, tachometer and diary, CO² values, powers and scandals.
That God becomes a child, the absolute sensual, who understands it? Another transformation is closer: that everything becomes a commodity and profit. But just as little as our hearts still touch dogmas, so little do we still be tempted by more consumption. Christmas as a break, in singing, giving, praying and playing a warm humanity?
From commercium admirabile originates the strained word “commerce.” The Christmas carol “Praise God, all you Christians, in all places” sings of the mysterious change, the radical other, the revolution in Bethlehem. The greatest happens in the smallest, the glorious in the shabby, the light in the dark, the warmest in the cold, in the guilty the innocent, in the old the new beginning, in the brutal the tender, in the broken the whole, in the profane the sacred - mixture, exchange, connection, liaison: heaven kisses the world.
We warmly invite all those who want to live/love differently to the winter idyll at Lake Starnberg to the riddle of a salutary commerce.
